Orion's Executive Team Bios
Tom Brosius is the Vice President and General Manager at Orion where he has managed the Aerospace Manufacturing division since 2007.
Tom began his aerospace career in the US Air Force and managed aircraft flight line maintenance organizations at both Griffiss Air Force Base in New York and at McChord Air Force Base in Washington before retiring from the military. Following his military career, Tom managed manufacturing operations as the Plant Manager at Flow International in Kent, Washington pushing the leading edge of manufacturing water jet cutting systems.
Tom is an Executive Board Member for the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA), a non-profit organization that promotes and supports the growth and competitiveness of the Northwest aerospace industry. He holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Washington.
Sean has been in the aerospace industry for over 39 years, starting as a machinist in the Aircraft Maintenance & Overhaul Department of Aer Lingus in Dublin, Ireland. He then moved on to qualifying as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, performing Major and Minor modifications and repairs to Boeing aircraft. With this engineering and technical background, Sean has helped to grow Orion Sales since he joined the company in 2010.
Mike joined the Orion team in 2015 as the Operations Manager. His resume includes 20 years of aerospace experience in management at Arnprior Aerospace,
Flow International and HYDRO Systems USA. Throughout Mike's career he has been responsible for operational cost cutting and has accomplished this with
Continuous Quality Improvement activities and the implementation of Lean concepts. Mike holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Queens'
University and an MBA from City University of Seattle.
Cory joined Orion as a contractor in 2014 with the mission of adding finishing capabilities, and in 2015 joined the staff to manage the completed
project. Cory brings with him over 25 years of experience in metal finishing, previously serving as a Quality Assurance Manager and Operations
Manager. Cory has 7 years of experience managing a Nadcap accredited finishing program as well as experience in safety and regulatory compliance.
Shawn started at Orion in 2004 and is currently in charge of inventory control, shipping and receiving, and HBU production control. He served 10
years in the United States Air Force and has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.
